Precautions for maintenance of enamel condensers, enamel equipment, and accessories
Time: 2023-03-20
After the production of qualified enamel condensers, enamel equipment, and accessories is completed, the production enterprise needs to conduct electric spark testing, pressure testing, and visual inspection.

After the goods arrive at the site, necessary acceptance checks should also be carried out. In addition to taking corresponding protective measures during transportation and installation, the following points should also be noted during the production process.

1. After each use of the enamel condenser and enamel equipment, they need to be visually inspected by lighting. If cracks, porcelain explosions, and other problems are found, they need to be repaired. Only after the repair is completed can they be used.

2. Cleaning of enamel condenser and enamel equipment shell: To avoid the metal surface outside the enamel layer from weather corrosion and acid corrosion. Avoid reacting with metals to generate hydrogen gas, which can cause phosphorus explosion in the ceramic layer. If there is acid liquid or acid gas leakage, it should be immediately cleaned and promptly blocked and repaired.

3. Cleaning inside the enamel tank: It can be cleaned regularly according to the reaction situation, using high-pressure water, rubber balls, etc. If there is solid bonding material inside the tank that needs to be removed, attention should be paid not to use metal or hard objects to knock and shovel.

4. When the enamel condenser and enamel equipment and accessories are not in use, attention should be paid to storage. When storing, attention should be paid to collision, sunlight, and rain. In order to prevent water from entering the equipment, the pipe mouth should be sealed.

5. The user unit should assign personnel to inspect the sealing condition of the transmission components and flange connections for normal operation. The accessories of enamel equipment, such as thermometer tubes, liquid level gauges, instruments, valves, etc., should be maintained and recorded on a daily basis.

6. When necessary, the user can also conduct a self check on the equipment. The self check mainly involves testing the enamel surface with a 10000 volt high-voltage spark, and it is considered normal if there is no leakage.
